Terms of Service

1. The service

Storypic is a self-serve tool that turns the facts you supply about one person into a personalized 1080×1920 PNG celebration image. You pick an occasion and vibe, type 5–15 facts, pay $4, and we generate the image headline, callouts, closing line, caption, and background illustration, then deliver the composed PNG via your order page. You decide whether and when to post it, and to which audience.

2. No warranty about the recipient

Storypic does not guarantee that the recipient will see the image or react in any particular way. The output is based entirely on the facts you submit. We do not independently verify them and we do not insert facts you did not supply.

3. Your submissions

You represent that the facts you submit are about a person you know and that you have the right to use those facts in a celebration image you intend to post publicly. Do not submit highly sensitive personal information, payment card numbers outside Stripe Checkout, or third-party confidential material you are not authorized to share.

4. Pricing, delivery, and refunds

The current listed price for one celebration image is $4 unless a different price is shown at checkout. Delivery normally occurs through the order page within a minute of payment clearing.

Full refund within 7 days, no questions asked. We can’t unpost what you’ve already shared, but we’ll refund the purchase. Refund processing is automated through Stripe and typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days. After the refund window closes, refunds are discretionary except where non-waivable law requires otherwise. A refund also takes the on-domain image preview offline immediately; the PNG you already saved to your phone is unaffected.

5. AI limitations

The service uses automated systems and third-party AI providers. The image text is generated from the facts you supply; the background illustration is generated from the chosen vibe. Outputs can still be awkward or miss the mark. You should preview the image and use the regenerate option if needed before posting.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Storypic to harass, dox, impersonate, or harm the person the image is about. Do not submit facts you know to be false and intended to deceive viewers. Do not use the service to violate the law. We may take any on-domain preview down at our discretion if it appears to violate these terms.

7. License to output

Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, you may share, gift, post, and print the delivered celebration image for personal, non-commercial use. We retain all rights in the service itself, including the site, prompts, software, and operating methods.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storypic is provided “as is” without warranties, and our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
